By the way -- The newer Charlie Miller transfer of 12/6/73 crushes the source in the OP. Louder, cleaner and more complete.

I want to thank everyone in the GD Forum for all the knowledge and devotion they've shown. I'm working on a film using "Dark Star" as its fuel. I mean, I'm creating a film of images to accompany a performance of the work. With all the "Dark Star"s out here - IN here, I mean, in the Archive - it was a relief to see continued references to the Portland Memorial Coliseum performance of 1973-06-24. That's the one I'm building my film on top of. I'll post it here in a month or so and I'll let everyone know about it. I've just finished a five-year film project and, as a reward, I'm doing the "Dark Star" film I've had in my head for the last few years. If you search the Archive for "Gustav Mahler: Abschied 1909" you'll get an idea of what I'm capable of. Again, thanks everyone for pointing me in the right direction.
